COVID-19 Safety Protocols

We are excited to announce that we have begun seeing patients again for non-emergency appointments. As patient safety is our top priority, we have added a few new protocols to our normal procedures in order to keep both our patients and our staff as safe as possible. If you have any questions or you need to make an appointment, please contact our front office.

Screening Patients & Staff

Before you come in for your appointment, we will ask you to answer a few screening questions. This is so that we can confirm that you have not been recently exposed to the coronavirus to the best of your knowledge and that you are not experiencing any coronavirus-related symptoms. Our staff is also being screened daily to ensure that they are healthy enough to come into the office and work with patients.

Health Evaluations

After you have answered our screening questions, your temperature and oxygen saturation levels will be evaluated before you enter the office. This reduces the likelihood that someone who has coronavirus will enter the building. Neither of these tests are painful or invasive. We will scan your temperature with a forehead thermometer, and oxygen levels are measured with a device that shines light through the side of your finger.

Streamline Check-in & Check-out Process

We have streamlined our check-in and check-out procedures to eliminate the need for patients to wait together in the waiting room. When you arrive for your appointment, please call or text our front desk to let us know, and we will let you know when we are ready to see you. Once your screening questions and health evaluation is complete, you will be walked straight to your treatment room.

Air Purification & Disinfectant

During the day, our high-level air purification system will be running constantly so that the air in our practice is continually purified. Additionally, we will also be using aerosol disinfectant throughout the office between patients. If you would like a face mask, please ask one of our friendly staff members, and we will be happy to provide one for you.

Early Appointment Reservations

We have early morning appointments that are reserved specifically for our seniors and health vulnerable patients as an extra precaution. There are fewer patients and staff present at the office early in the morning, which makes our practice even safer for patients who are considered high-risk for contracting COVID-19. Just let us know that you belong to one of these groups when making your appointment, and we will be happy to accommodate you.
