Ask Us A Question

How often should I get a dental check-up?

Most patients benefit from a routine exam and cleaning every six months. These visits allow us to remove built up plaque and tartar, assess your oral health, and catch small issues before they develop into bigger problems. Some patients with specific concerns, like gum disease, may need more frequent visits.

What ages do you accept?

We proudly welcome patients of all ages, from young children to seniors. Our team is experienced in providing gentle, age-appropriate care tailored to each stage of life. Whether it’s a child’s first dental visit ever or ongoing care for adults and older patients, we’re here to support your entire family’s oral health needs!

Can I get a second opinion at Dental Health Associates?

We’re happy to provide second opinions for patients who want clarity or reassurance about a diagnosis or treatment plan. We’ll carefully review your dental health, discuss your options, and answer any questions you have. Our goal is to help you feel confident and informed about your care decisions.

What is “out-of-network” dental insurance?

Out-of-network means our office is not directly contracted with your insurance provider. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t use your benefits here. Many plans still offer coverage at out-of-network offices, and we can help you understand your benefits and file claims to maximize your reimbursement.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Modern dental X-rays are very safe and use extremely low levels of radiation. Our practice utilizes digital X-ray technology, which further reduces exposure while providing clear, detailed images. Protective measures are always taken to ensure your safety, as X-rays are a very important tool for detecting issues that can’t be seen with the naked eye.

What are my options for replacing missing teeth?

We provide several reliable, durable options for replacing missing teeth, including dental bridges, dentures, and dental implants. Each solution has its own benefits depending on your needs, oral health, and goals. During your consultation, we’ll discuss these restorative options and help you choose the one that best fits your preferences and needs.

What if I don’t know what services I need?

That’s perfectly okay! Many patients come in unsure of what treatment(s) they may require. We’ll perform a comprehensive exam, take any necessary images, and talk with you about your concerns. From there, we can create a personalized plan designed to address your needs and keep your oral health on track.

What if it’s been a few years since I’ve been to the dentist?

You’re not alone, and there’s no judgment here. We understand that life gets busy, and many patients return after time away. Our focus is simply on helping you move forward with comfortable, supportive care. We’ll assess your current oral health, address any new concerns, and create a plan to get your smile back on the right track!
